Has anyone tried Pinnacle's Cake Vodka!? As you can tell I'm very excited about this product and no I was not paid to say that. Now I know this is a gluten free blog and this vodka is not Certified Gluten Free but I personally have not had a problem with this (to each there own). Hmm, I wonder if you could blend this with Tito's GF Vodka and with a piece of gluten free birthday cake??? Yum! Well this boozy shake is just as good and guess what? Yup, you guessed it (even if you didn't), dairy free. I try to cut dairy any little place I can, purely for vanity reasons, can you say hormonal breakout. Luckily I had just came back from Chicago over the Easter holiday and stocked up on my fave coconut milk from Whole Foods. I've tried all brands but I find the taste of whole foods brand (365 Organic) is less coconut-y, contradicting but I use coconut milk for a dairy free alternative rarely for a coconut taste.
This is a perfect drink to sit back and relax with outside. It's super quick and easy and since it dairy free, i.e no hormonal breakouts, you can sip without fear. As far as guilt, well there is some sugar in this but can easily be substituted with honey or sweetener of your choice. As the summer months come rolling in strawberries only get sweeter so this could be a sugar free drink ( just add more ice if using fresh strawberries).
